La Liga: Debt piled up, Barcelona unlikely to withdraw Erling Haaland

Netgenz - Netizen buzz Sport | Not yet, Barcelona has given up on Erling Haaland's problem. The Blaugrana feel unable to bring in the Borussia Dortmund star in the near future. Barcelona vice president, Rafa Yuste, made it clear that his team would be wary of entering the transfer market in the future. Especially considering that there is a financial crisis right now. "I prefer to be organized with the concept of prudence. We come from a huge economic crisis, so we are cautious," Yuste told Mundo Deportivo.
"I don't see Haaland happening right now. From now until next year we will see how he is and what we can do in terms of acceptance," he continued. Barcelona has long been linked with Haaland, however, the current state of affairs is unlikely. Barcelona has a focus that needs to be resolved. "First we have to place the base of the house in the rubble, so let's concentrate on fortifying it first," said Yuste.
"Let's feed them indoors first and we'll see what else we can do, without forgetting the evidence that we always want to have the best, and Haaland is the best in the world."

Yuste visualized that Barcelona's management under Josep Maria Bartomeu was a disaster. The former president bought players without knowing what the club could afford to do financially. "All he did was add debt, besides leaving a salary bill that we had to settle," said Yuste.
Yuste admitted that working with Ronald Koeman was not always easy but he had respect and faith in the coach. "Ronald is a wonderful person, really bright and really friendly, and although there are times we don't like what he has to say," he said. "But he didn't explain things as an argument. For example, he told us he couldn't play 4-3-3 because he didn't have wingers because they were injured."
