LALISA's video clip was viewed at about 73. six million times in the first 24 hours of launching. The number broke the record previously held by pop vocalist Taylor Swift with her song "ME!" in 2019 which attracted 65.2 million viewers within 24 hours of launching. Besides that, taken by Soompi, the song "LALISA" broke a new record as a KPOP actress music video on YouTube with the most views in 24 hours since its launch.

The record was initially held by her girl group partner, Rosé, who launched her solo work "On The Ground". "The recent success of (BLACKPINK) indicates that the group is in the Guinness World Records 2022 book on social media," the agency said in a statement. Initially, Lisa explained that LALISA's music video was not only thick with dynamic electronic pop music but also featured elements of Thai culture as the original country.

At that time, through a live broadcast, Lisa explained the blend of Thai culture into her first solo single that came from her own idea. "I really wanted to include a touch of Thailand in this song but Teddy arranged it in a Thai style. So I was really touched and happy. I included black and gold in the album design," said Lisa as quoted by Newsen via Naver earlier in September yesterday.

Not just a matter of musical style, Lisa also includes Thai elements in LALISA's video clip, starting from the clothes she wears to the choreography. In this music video, Lisa appears carrying dynamic choreography following the fast-paced music. The video opens with a performance in a black dress. Next, Lisa changed into some other clothes that were thick with the topic of girl crush having the concept of hip hop and swag. Towards the end of the video, Lisa is wearing an outfit that is the same gold color as that worn by traditional Thai dancers.
