Just like last year, this event brought back seven members of BTS, namely RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook in enjoying their free time in a residence away from the hustle and bustle of the city. On the other hand, BTS's partner at HYBE's agency SEVENTEEN is also currently starring in a similar program but their version is entitled SEVENTEEN In The Soop Ver. Through this dance-pop song, the BTS Band seems to invite everyone to say goodbye to Covid-19, and invite everyone to be happy again after facing the dark days of the pandemic. The song Permission to Dance involves singer and music producer Ed Sheeran as the songwriter. The single was also the result of collaborations with some well-known producers, including Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol, and Jenna Andrews. The song Permission to Dance marks BTS's second collaboration project with Ed Sheeran after the song Make It Right which is on the album Map of the Soul: 7 (2020).
