That night, the director of the hospital dies after falling from the roof of the apartment building of deputy director Kim Tae Si (played by Moon Sung Geun). His death was determined as an accident caused by a heart attack. Ye Jin-Woo did not believe this and thought that something was not finished.
Goo Seung Hyo (played by Cho Seung Woo) starts working as the CEO of the new Sangkook Campus Hospital. He is an ambitious figure. As a businessman, he wanted the hospital to make a profit. Someone said that running a hospital is different from starting another business, but Goo Seung Hyo doesn't understand why hospitals are different.
For the hospital to start making a profit, he plans to transfer 3 departments, including the critical unit clinical department to another hospital. All the hospital staff members resisted the idea and went on strike which was held by the deputy director. At that time, Goo Seung Hyo ran the hospital with a dark side, including covering up patient deaths.
