The fish that is usually used as an ingredient in this dish is tuna.

Papeda or Sago Porridge is the staple food of the people of Maluku and Papua. This food is found in almost all areas in Maluku and Papua. Papeda is made from sago flour. Papeda is usually eaten with yellow broth, which is made from tuna or Mubarak fish and seasoned with turmeric and lime.

Sago cake or Bagea is a cake originating from Papua, the basic ingredient for making this cake is sago flour. This sago cake is a bit hard when bitten, but if it's in the mouth or dipped in water, it will quickly soften/go soft.

North Kalimantan, especially the city of Tarakan is famous for seafood. One that is worth a try is the Soka Crab. We can eat this crab in all parts of its body. Soka crab has a softshell so it can be eaten. These crabs can also be made for snacks or crackers.
